Dr. Chris Brodeur Chiropractor
Specialties: Chronic Pain, Rehab Therapy

After obtaining a BSc at the University of Alberta, Dr. Chris went on to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States and graduated with honours. Though an experienced chiropractor, in practice since 2005, he continues to deepen his knowledge of the chiropractic profession to provide adaptable treatments to a wide variety of patients. Dr. Chris mindfully practices with a no pressure attitude, believing that patient empowerment is the best way to address individual needs. 

Dr. Chris is the owner of Whyte Avenue Chiropractic and works in association with his wife, Dr. Kimberly Brodeur - owner of Whyte Avenue Psychology. Together they have equipped the clinic to offer extra care to those who may need it, with accessibilities in place for chronic pain and severe mobility limitations. Dr. Chris believes in welcoming everyone into the clinic, and strives to remove any barriers patients may face towards care.

Dr. David Connick Chiropractor
Specialties: Active Care, Sports Rehab

Dr. Dave graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2016. A former athlete with the University of Alberta’s Golden Bears, Dr. Dave understands the importance of taking care of your body. He is best known for the wealth of knowledge he possesses and his passion for educating his clients. Dr. Dave always takes the time needed to get to the root of your concerns, provide a thorough treatment, and answer all of your questions.

He practices a number of rehabilitative treatments for pain, muscles, and joints using a wide array of techniques, such as the Gonstead technique, the Graston technique, the Thompson Drop-Table technique, the diversified technique, flexion distraction, spinal decompression, advanced kinesio taping, and exercise rehabilitation.


Dr. Kimberly Brodeur Clinical & Neuro Psychologist
Specialties: Concussion, Chronic Pain, Rehabilitation

Dr. Brodeur is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Alberta (UofA) as well as her master’s and doctorate degrees from Pacific University in Oregon.

She is a brain health advocate who emphasizes her clients' individual strengths through cognitive-behavioural therapy and mindfulness training. Her neuropsychological assessments and concussion therapy help her clients to work toward improving their overall health and well-being.

Kya Brodeur Certified Therapy Dog
Specialties: Stress & Anxiety Relief

Kya is a Saint Bernard Poodle mix, St. Berdoodle.

Having successfully completed the Canine Good Citizen and Canine Good Neighbor program, she went on to become a Certified Therapy Dog in 2019.

As our official greeter, Kya has developed strong bonds with many of our clientele.

You will often find her lounging in high traffic areas waiting for pets.

Danielle Drapaka ACUPUNCTURIST
Specialties: Chronic Pain, Mental Health

Danielle is a graduate of Grant MacEwan’s acupuncture program and has been practicing since June 2020. Danielle has a passion for working one on one with people. She enjoys formulating treatments that are designed to aid digestive ailments, fertility, hormonal concerns, mental health, pain relief, and more. She incorporates fire cupping, electro stimulation, auricular acupuncture, moxibustion, gua sha, scalp acupuncture and Tuina massage into her treatments. Danielle is also completing her massage therapy studies through M.H. Vicars. 

When Danielle is not treating patients, you can find her walking the river valley trails, traveling, swing dancing and checking out the local farmers' markets.

Christina Garrison Registered Massage Therapist
Specialties: Rehabilitation Massage, Chronic Pain

Christina received her training from Grant Macewan University. Now with over 15 years of experience, she offers expertise in providing nurturing and safe care in a range of treatments. She provides rehabilitative massage for TMJ dysfunction, rotator cuff issues, colon and abdominal issues, and for patients who have been in a motor vehicle accident. She offers chronic pain, prenatal, and postnatal massages. She also incorporates myofascial cupping when beneficial.

Fueled by her love for people, Christina always creates a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere for her clients. When not at work, she enjoys going to the pool or cooking for her family.

Angeline Schumaker Registered Massage Therapist
Specialties: Chronic Pain Management

Angeline graduated with honours from Vicars School of Massage Therapy. As a practitioner, she values each individual and their unique circumstances through her person-centred approach. Her focus is to collaborate with each client to create a treatment plan that works best for them. Angeline utilizes therapeutic and relaxation techniques to treat a variety of concerns, including, but not limited to, daily stress, acute injuries, and persistent (chronic) pain. 

Angeline enjoys spending time with her two children, her family, and friends. You’ll often find her reading, working on DIY projects, enjoying nature, and volunteering.

Marcel Hamann Registered Massage Therapist
Specialties: Rehabilitation Massage

Marcel is a former member of the Canadian Forces. As he reached the end of his 24 years of service, he decided to pursue a new career as a Registered Massage Therapist. Having completed his training from Vicars School of Massage in 2005, he now offers an experienced edge and offers many styles of massage. He is able to tailor the treatment to your needs, whether you’re in need of a relaxation or a deep tissue massage. He enjoys utilizing different approaches; his arsenal of techniques include craniosacral massage, reiki, reflexology, and the Bowen technique.

Marcel leads a very active lifestyle that is full of outdoor activities, such as cycling, hiking, and camping. He strives to stay mentally and physically sharp in order to offer his clients high quality advice and care.

Sharleen Heinriches Registered Massage Therapist
Specialties: Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Massage

Sharleen graduated in 2007 from the Alberta Institute of Massage. Over the years, she has found ways to apply deep pressure without shocking the body’s nervous system. All of her treatments are individualized with a fusion of relaxation and deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and cupping and acupressure as needed. In 2008, she completed her Reiki Master Certification. She also offers craniosacral therapy to help clients with regular headaches, concussion recovery, and PTSD.

Sharleen’s interests outside of work include her dedication to her two children, meditation, martial arts, and learning guitar. 

Shareen Kishor Registered Massage Therapist
Specialties: Pediatric Massage, Oncology Massage

Shareen graduated from Makami College in 2018. She has a special passion for pediatric, oncology, and pre natal/ post natal massage. She also offers relaxation, TMJ, deep tissue, and sports massage. 

Shareen is an open book and loves to connect with everyone she meets. Her caring nature propelled her into a profession that centers around caring for others. As a busy mother of two boys, she finds relaxation in a hot cup of coffee, spending time with family, and going out for food.

Meonah Cecilia Office Manager

Meonah has received both a diploma in Business Administration, with a major in entrepreneurship, and her bachelors in Business Administration, with a major in management. Meonah is in the office most days. In her off time she enjoys reading, lifting weights, traveling and snowboarding. 

Jacqueline Adatia Clinic Administrator

Jacqueline graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She majored in psychology and minored in sociology. She enjoys taking part in yoga classes on the weekends and going for walks with her dog, Rylie. She also likes traveling and spending time with friends and family. 

Meriem Baadi Administrator

Meriem is pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree at Campus St. Jean. She is interested in pursuing a career in healthcare and enjoys her time working to support those already active in the field. In her free time she enjoys painting and drawing.

Anele Ntshulana Administrator

Anele is a dedicated student, currently working towards becoming a dentist. A passion for health fuels her commitment to both academic and professional excellence. While Anele enjoys working towards her future, she never forgets to take time to relish in the joy of self-expression. Beyond her studies she enjoys the world of sneakers, having curated a unique and stylish collection. She is always excited to talk about health, fashion, and self improvement with clients. 

Jessilyn Callioux Admin & Communications

Jessilyn is pursuing her Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a major in marketing. Passionate about excellence in business, she is thrilled to be a support to both the team and the clients at Whyte Ave Chiropractic & Wellness. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family, read educational material, and dance flamenco.
